How Not to Worry

I am definitely a worry wart. I worry that something bad will happen to me or someone I love. I worry that I will run out of money or that I will never get married. I worry that I will make bad grades, and I worry about all the other little stuff that happens every day. The good news is that these worries are completely unfounded.

Matthew 6:32-34 says, "For the pagans run after these things, and your Heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

God knows what we need and would rather we focused on seeking Him than on our worries. He takes care of all our needs. We have no reason to worry. How do you keep from worrying? Take Matthew 6:32-34 for its word, and trust God by faith that if you seek Him first, He will take care of all your needs.
