Isaiah 30:15

This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says:

Psalm 91:10-11

Isaiah 25:4-5

You have been a refuge for the poor, a refuge for the needy in his distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat. For the breath of the ruthless is like a storm driving against a wall and like the heat of the desert. You silence the uproar of foreigners; as heat is reduced by the shadow of a cloud, so the song of the ruthless is stilled.

Psalm 116:7

Be at rest once more, O my soul, for the Lord has been good to you.

Psalm 115:9-13

O house of Israel, trust in the Lord - He is their help and shield. O house of Aaron, trust in the Lord - He is their help and sheild. You who fear Him, trust in the Lord - He is their help and shield. The Lord remembers us and will bless us: He will bless the house of Israel, He will bless the house of Aaron, He will bless those who fear the Lord - small and great alike.

Isaiah 16:4b-5

The oppressor will come to an end, and destruction will cease; the aggressor will vanish from the land.

In love a throne will be established; in faithfulness a man will sit on it - one from the house of David - one who in judging seeks justice and speeds the cause of the righteous.
