John 5:24

“I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life. (John 5:24 NLT)

Psalms 50:23

But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors me. If you keep to my path, I will reveal to you the salvation of God.” (Psalms 50:23 NLT)

Psalms 46:1-3

God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea. Let the oceans roar and foam. Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge! Interlude (Psalms 46:1-3 NLT)

Psalms 44:5-7

Only by your power can we push back our enemies; only in your name can we trample our foes. I do not trust in my bow; I do not count on my sword to save me. You are the one who gives us victory over our enemies; you disgrace those who hate us. (Psalms 44:5-7 NLT)

Psalm 42

As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God. I thirst for God, the living God. When can I go and stand before him? Day and night I have only tears for food, while my enemies continually taunt me, saying, “Where is this God of yours?” My heart is breaking as I remember how it used to be: I walked among the crowds of worshipers, leading a great procession to the house of God, singing for joy and giving thanks amid the sound of a great celebration! Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and  my God!  Now I am deeply discouraged, but I will remember you— even from distant Mount Hermon, the source of the Jordan, from the land of Mount Mizar. I hear the tumult of the raging seas as your waves and surging tides sweep over me. But each day the L ord  pours his unfailing love upon me, and through each night I sing his songs, praying to God who gives me life. “O God my rock,” I cry, “Why have you forgotten me? Why must I wander around in grief, oppressed by my enemies?” Their taunts break my bones. They scoff, “Where is this God of yours?” Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God! (Psalms 42:1-11 NLT)

Ephesians 1:7, 8 NLT

He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.  He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding. (Ephesians 1:7, 8 NLT)

Psalms 41:1-4, 11

Oh, the joys of those who are kind to the poor! The L ord  rescues them when they are in trouble. The L ord  protects them and keeps them alive. He gives them prosperity in the land and rescues them from their enemies. The L ord  nurses them when they are sick and restores them to health. “O L ord ,” I prayed, “have mercy on me. Heal me, for I have sinned against you.” I know you are pleased with me, for you have not let my enemies triumph over me. (Psalms 41:1-4, 11 NLT)

John 3:18

“There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. (John 3:18 NLT)

Psalms 37:3-5, 12, 13, 17-19, 23-25, 27, 28, 32, 33 NLT

Trust in the L ord  and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. Take delight in the L ord , and he will give you your heart’s desires. Commit everything you do to the L ord . Trust him, and he will help you. The wicked plot against the godly; they snarl at them in defiance. But the Lord just laughs, for he sees their day of judgment coming. For the strength of the wicked will be shattered, but the L ord  takes care of the godly. Day by day the L ord  takes care of the innocent, and they will receive an inheritance that lasts forever. They will not be disgraced in hard times; even in famine they will have more than enough. The L ord  directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the L ord  holds them by the hand. Once I was young, and now I am old. Yet I have never seen the godly abandoned or their children begging for bread. Turn from evil and do good, and you will live in the land forever. For the L ord  loves justice, and he will never abandon the godly. He will keep them safe forever, but the children of the wicked will die. The wicked wait in ambush for the godly, looking for an excuse to kill them. But the L ord  will not let the wicked succeed or let the godly be condemned when they are put on trial. (Psalms 37:3-5, 12, 13, 17-19, 23-25, 27, 28, 32, 33 NLT)

Hebrews 13:5-6

Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” So we can say with confidence, “The Lord  is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?” (Hebrews 13:5, 6 NLT)

Psalm 34:17, 19-22

The L ord  hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. The righteous person faces many troubles, but the L ord  comes to the rescue each time. For the L ord  protects the bones of the righteous; not one of them is broken! Calamity will surely overtake the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be punished. But the L ord  will redeem those who serve him. No one who takes refuge in him will be condemned. (Psalms 34:17, 19-22 NLT)

Romans 5:3-5, 7-8

We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance.  And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.  And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good.  But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. (Romans 5:3-5, 7, 8 NLT)

Exodus 14:13-14

But Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the L ord  rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again.  The L ord  himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.” (Exodus 14:13, 14 NLT)

Isaiah 52:4-12

This is what the Sovereign L ord  says: “Long ago my people chose to live in Egypt. Now they are oppressed by Assyria.  What is this?” asks the L ord . “Why are my people enslaved again? Those who rule them shout in exultation. My name is blasphemed all day long.    But I will reveal my name to my people, and they will come to know its power. Then at last they will recognize that I am the one who speaks to them.” How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news, the good news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel  reigns! The watchmen shout and sing with joy, for before their very eyes they see the L ord  returning to Jerusalem. Let the ruins of Jerusalem break into joyful song, for the L ord  has comforted his people. He has redeemed Jerusalem. The L ord  has demonstrated his holy power before the eyes of all the nations. All the ends of the earth will see the victory of our God. Get out! Get out and leave your captivity, where everything you touch is unclean. Get out of there and purify yourselves, you who carry home the sacred objects of the L ord . You will not leave in a hurry, running for your lives. For the L ord  will go ahead of you; yes, the God of Israel will protect you from behind. (Isaiah 52:4-12 NLT)

Psalm 30:5, 11:12

For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning. You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, that I might sing praises to you and not be silent. O L ord  my God, I will give you thanks forever! (Psalms 30:5, 11, 12 NLT)

Psalm 27:1-5

The L ord  is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The L ord  is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble? When evil people come to devour me, when my enemies and foes attack me, they will stumble and fall. Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident. The one thing I ask of the L ord — the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the L ord  all the days of my life, delighting in the L ord ’s perfections and meditating in his Temple. For he will conceal me there when troubles come; he will hide me in his sanctuary. He will place me out of reach on a high rock. (Psalms 27:1-5 NLT)

Isaiah 40:27-31

O Jacob, how can you say the L ord  does not see your troubles? O Israel, how can you say God ignores your rights? Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The L ord  is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the L ord  will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:27-31 NLT)

Psalm 25:1-7

O L ord , I give my life to you. I trust in you, my God! Do not let me be disgraced, or let my enemies rejoice in my defeat. No one who trusts in you will ever be disgraced, but disgrace comes to those who try to deceive others. Show me the right path, O L ord ; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you. Remember, O L ord , your compassion and unfailing love, which you have shown from long ages past. Do not remember the rebellious sins of my youth. Remember me in the light of your unfailing love, for you are merciful, O L ord . (Psalms 25:1-7 NLT)

Psalm 22:26

The poor will eat and be satisfied. All who seek the L ord  will praise him. Their hearts will rejoice with everlasting joy. (Psalms 22:26 NLT)

Psalm 18:1-3, 46-49

I love you, L ord ; you are my strength. The L ord  is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety. I called on the L ord , who is worthy of praise, and he saved me from my enemies. The L ord  lives! Praise to my Rock! May the God of my salvation be exalted! He is the God who pays back those who harm me; he subdues the nations under me and rescues me from my enemies. You hold me safe beyond the reach of my enemies; you save me from violent opponents. For this, O L ord , I will praise you among the nations; I will sing praises to your name. (Psalms 18:1-3, 46-49 NLT)

Lamentations 3:31-33

For no one is abandoned by the Lord forever. Though he brings grief, he also shows compassion because of the greatness of his unfailing love. For he does not enjoy hurting people or causing them sorrow. (Lamentations 3:31-33 NLT)

Psalm 17:6-8

I am praying to you because I know you will answer, O God. Bend down and listen as I pray. Show me your unfailing love in wonderful ways. By your mighty power you rescue those who seek refuge from their enemies. Guard me as you would guard your own eyes. Hide me in the shadow of your wings. (Psalms 17:6-8 NLT)

Psalm 14:2-6

The L ord  looks down from heaven on the entire human race; he looks to see if anyone is truly wise, if anyone seeks God. But no, all have turned away; all have become corrupt. No one does good, not a single one! Will those who do evil never learn? They eat up my people like bread and wouldn’t think of praying to the L ord . Terror will grip them, for God is with those who obey him. The wicked frustrate the plans of the oppressed, but the L ord  will protect his people. (Psalms 14:2-6 NLT)

Psalm 11:3-4, 6-7

The foundations of law and order have collapsed. What can the righteous do?” But the L ord  is in his holy Temple; the L ord  still rules from heaven. He watches everyone closely, examining every person on earth. He will rain down blazing coals and burning sulfur on the wicked, punishing them with scorching winds. For the righteous L ord  loves justice. The virtuous will see his face. (Psalms 11:3, 4, 6, 7 NLT)

Psalm 9:8-10

He will judge the world with justice and rule the nations with fairness. The L ord  is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O L ord , do not abandon those who search for you. (Psalms 9:8-10 NLT)

Psalm 6:1-4

O Lord , don’t rebuke me in your anger or discipline me in your rage. Have compassion on me, Lord , for I am weak. Heal me, Lord , for my bones are in agony. I am sick at heart. How long, O Lord , until you restore me? Return, O Lord , and rescue me. Save me because of your unfailing love. (Psalms 6:1-4 NLT)

Psalms 6:1-4

O L ord , don’t rebuke me in your anger or discipline me in your rage. Have compassion on me, L ord , for I am weak. Heal me, L ord , for my bones are in agony. I am sick at heart. How long, O L ord , until you restore me? Return, O L ord , and rescue me. Save me because of your unfailing love. (Psalms 6:1-4 NLT)

1Timothy 1:15-17

This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”—and I am the worst of them all.  But God had mercy on me so that Christ Jesus could use me as a prime example of his great patience with even the worst sinners. Then others will realize that they, too, can believe in him and receive eternal life.  All honor and glory to God forever and ever! He is the eternal King, the unseen one who never dies; he alone is God. Amen. (1 Timothy 1:15-17 NLT)
