For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. "Because he loves me," says the Lord, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation."

Today I was studying for my final in Business Law. Our other tests were online, and he opened them up through today for us to look at them. I was going to look at them tomorrow because I had forgotten that they were only open through today. At about 10:30 pm I remembered that they were only open through today and got online to look at them. When I got done at 11:03, they were already closed. There is no doubt in my mind that God reminded me to look at those tests just in the nick of time. Even 15 minutes later, and I wouldn't have had time to look at both of them. Thank You God!!

Psalm 51: 17
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.

Isaiah 37:30-35

Isaiah 51:3

The Lord will surely comfort Zion and will look with compassion on all her ruins; He will make her deserts like Eden, her wastelands like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the sound of singing.

Who you are and what you do are two different issues. God never stops loving you when you make a mistake, but you have to admit them and ask for forgiveness.

Romans 12:1
I appeal to you, therefore, brethren, and I beg of you in view of all the mercies of God to make a decisive dedication of your bodies, presenting all your members and faculties as a living sacrifice.

There are 2 kinds of righteousness, the kind that comes through works, and the kind that can only be given to you through Jesus.

John 3:16

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

Matthew 5:17

Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.


The law was made to prove to people that they couldn't keep it because they need a Savior!!

Romans 3:20
Therefore no one will be declared righteous in His sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin.

So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.

Proverbs 3:5-8

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.

Hebrews 10:36

You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised.

Sometimes you gotta go backwards before you can go forward, like a car switching gears.

The majority of your life may be spent in getting education for what you are really meant to do, like with Moses and Joseph.

God is smarter than me. His timing is right. His way of getting there is right. I trust Him completely.

God does let us know some things so we can have confidence, but not the timing or the way.

Matthew 6:33-34

But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Matthew 17:19-20

Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, "Why couldn't we drive [the demon] out?" He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."

Whoever is wise, let him heed these things and consider the great love of the Lord.

When they went across the lake, the disciples forgot to take bread. Aware of their discussion, Jesus asked, "You of little faith, why are you talking among yourselves about having no bread? Do you still not understand? Don't you remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered? Or the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered?"

Genesis 45:5-8

And now, do not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you. For two years now there has been famine in the land, and for the next five years there will not be plowing and reaping. But God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance. So then, it was not you who sent me here, but God. He made me father to Pharaoh, lord of his entire household and ruler of all Egypt.
